Ms. Willis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Public Administration. She is a mother of 4. She is deeply committed to improving education for young people and providing opportunities for economic empowerment to women. She has been an active member of the Policy Council Board of Lutheran Services Head Start/Early Head Start since 2015 where she served as Chairwoman of the Board 2017-2019. Ms. Willis received the Woman of the Year award from Lutheran Services Head Start in 2019. Ms. Willis also was the Vice President of SAC Committee for Bridge to Success in West Jacksonville.
She is a published author and ordained minister and attends Crossroads Christian Church and has previously served as a summer camp leader and youth minister.
